TRANSPARENCY

Editorial and verification policy

Learn how Credit and Habit organizes card information, labels unverified facts, and separates comparisons from approval decisions.

Our approach

We organize cards by issuer, type, fees, and spending categories so visitors can compare options. Directory order is alphabetical unless a visitor chooses another sort; it is not a personalized ranking or a statement that one card is best.

Sources and verification

Product pages link to original issuer sources. A card receives a verified date only after its financial terms have been checked. An artwork source check does not verify fees, bonuses, rewards, or availability. Unverified records remain explicitly labeled. The site currently has no automatic live issuer-offer feed.

Comparisons

Comparisons use the same recorded facts shown on individual product pages. We do not invent ratings, customer review counts, approval odds, or financial credentials. Missing or uncertain details should be checked directly with the issuer.

Commercial relationships

A paid placement or affiliate relationship must be disclosed clearly near the affected content. A generic footer disclosure is not a replacement for a relevant nearby disclosure. Any commercial arrangement that affects ordering or content must be described accurately.

Corrections

If a summary conflicts with the current issuer page, use the issuer's application disclosures as the authoritative source for an application. The directory is intended to grow through source-based reviews and corrections.
